First saw the Zenith STOL aircraft at Oshkosh in the late
80’s. I wanted to build then but family and work would not
allow. Fast forward to 2010 when I moved to Florida and
joined EAA Chapter 1298. In the hangar was a just completed
Zenith STOL 701. Even more important was the knowledgeable
builder that accompanied it. Shortly after I ordered the
fairly new Zenith CH750 STOL Version 2 Kit.
The
build took 18 months including time out for vacations and a
month spent recovering from back surgery. N23FN has a Jabiru
3300 six cylinder engine with Rotec E-Ignition, Whirlwind GA
Prop, Dynon Skyview system, Electronics
International Fuel Flow Transducer, PS Engineering
Intercom, Fliteline Radio, Kannad 406ELT.
