Yes, you can fly this one too. The L-39 Turbojet was
designed and built by Aero Vodochody, a Czechoslovak
aircraft company. Stallion 51’s L-39 was manufactured in
1981 and acquired by the company in 2010. The L-39 is a
versatile, high performance jet trainer aircraft with a
dual cockpit that allows for excellent student-instructor
flight training

After acquiring the aircraft, Stallion
51 implemented major modifications, including the installation
of a state-of-the-art EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument
System) to simulate current corporate jet aircraft, and an
onboard camera system that is used to record training flights
for review in debrief

This is a T-6
Texan taxing out for takeoff. This is also available for
flying. All the planes have “onboard video” and you get copy of
your flight to relive the experience. Texan Flight Ops provides
orientation flights and checkout training in the North American
T-6G Texan. You can enjoy a rare opportunity to experience
firsthand the thrill and excitement of flying a vintage WWII
advanced trainer. The Texan is a two seat, dual controlled, 600
horsepower ex-military trainer used for advanced gunnery and
fighter tactics training.

The hangar was
occupied by three P-51 Mustangs and an L-39 Albatross. All 4
aircraft are available for a flight lesson. The picot gets to
log PIC and they also provide a video of the flight from an
onboard camera. Cost for pre flight planning, a one hour
flight, and de-briefing in the P51 Mustang is around $3,500. |
